Who this applies to
This policy applies to visitors and registered users of the Will Mac Daddy website and related features (for example sign-in, forum, and merch links). By using the site, you agree to this policy together with our Terms of service.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may process:
- Account and authentication data — When you sign in (including with Google or email), we receive identifiers and profile details needed to keep you logged in. Session data may be stored in cookies managed through our authentication provider.
- Forum and community data — Content you post (such as threads and replies), your chosen forum username, and related metadata needed to display and moderate the forum.
- Usage and analytics — If enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand traffic and page views. That may involve cookies or similar technologies and device or browser information.
- Technical data — Standard server and security logs (for example IP address, referring URL, and timestamps) may be processed when you load pages or use features.
How we use information
We use the above to:
- Provide and secure the site, accounts, and forum;
- Moderate content and enforce our rules;
- Measure and improve performance and user experience;
- Comply with law and protect rights, safety, and integrity of users and the service.
Third-party services
We rely on vendors that process data on our behalf or when you interact with them:
- Supabase — Authentication, database, and related infrastructure for accounts and site data.
- Google — Optional sign-in via Google, and (if configured) Google Analytics.
- Fourthwall and payment partners — Merch purchases, checkout, fulfillment, and customer support for orders are handled by Fourthwall and its processors. Their privacy terms apply to order-specific data.
Those services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read them, especially when you create an account or complete a purchase.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar storage as needed for sign-in sessions and, when enabled, analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking required cookies may limit sign-in or certain features (as noted on Support).
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, security, and operational requirements. Forum content may remain visible until removed by you or us under our terms.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to object or lodge a complaint with a regulator. To exercise rights that apply to data we control, contact us via the options on our Support page. We may need to verify your request.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Those locations may have different data protection rules than your country.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy, except where applicable law requires a different process.
